This year’s Gerontological Society of America (GSA) 2024 Annual Scientific Meeting was held from November 13-16th in Seattle, WA. The CREATE team, including the principal investigators and other research personnel, attended and presented the results from the ongoing projects.

On Nov 13th (Wed), Dr. Czaja chaired the symposium titled “Design, Evaluation, and Implementation of the PRISM Software System: A Software System Designed for Older Adults”. This symposium was co-organized by Dr. Hans-Werner Wahl from Heidelberg University, one of CREATE’s international collaborators (please see our website’s international collaborator section for more information on this project). Drs. Boot, Charness, Czaja, and Rogers individually discussed the findings and implications of the PRISM study, followed by Nicole Memmer from Heidelberg University who presented the progress of the PRISM study in Germany. Please see the image on the left: from left to right, pictured are Neil, Wendy, Walter, Nicole, and Sara.
