Researchers at HFES posing for group photo

The Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) held the International Symposium on Human Factors and Ergonomics in Health Care from March 30th to April 2nd in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Rogers from the Illinois site co-authored five oral and poster presentations and two workshop presentations. These presentations included a study about digital technology for medication self-management that she collaborated on with Dr. Azevedo, one of the CREATE Pilot Grantees. HFES annual meetings are an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest trends, practices, and innovations in the Human Factors field. Illinois hosted a reception that was attended by former CREATE Board member (Dr. Kathie Insel), CREATE alumni, Maurita Harris, Renato Azevedo, and current graduate student Veronica Falcon Borbolla.
