Walter R. Boot, Ph.D., is a Professor of Psychology at Florida State University and director of the Attention and Training Lab. In addition to being a principal investigator of CREATE, he is Co-Director of the ENHANCE (Enhancing Neurocognitive Health, Abilities, Networks, & Community Engagement) Center, with a focus on how technology can help support older adults living with cognitive impairment. His research interests include how technology-delivered interventions can improve the wellbeing and cognitive functioning of older adults, including through the use of novel virtual reality applications, and how technology can support adherence through tailored just-in-time reminder systems.
