An interdisciplinary research program titled Collaborations in Health, Aging, Research, & Technology (CHART) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign held a meeting with its Community Advisory Panel on December 5, 2025. This meeting was hosted by Dr. Wendy A. Rogers, the CHART Director, and Carrie Wennerdahl, the CHART Coordinator at the McKechnie Family LIFE Home. The panel consists of older adults from the community who meet every semester to provide researchers with feedback on current or planned projects. Participating at this meeting were Marge Moluf, Lenny Pitt, Jim Fawcett, Sue Boucek, Bob Boucek, and Betoel Escobar.

Dr. Raksha Mudar and Dr. Pallabi Bhowmick presented current CREATE projects, followed by enthusiastic discussions with the panel. Dr. Mudar is involved in Project 2 – Technology Support for Cognition and Social Engagement for Aging Adults with Mild Cognitive Impairment and Project 3 – Technology Tools for Cognitive Support for Health Management Activities for Aging Adults with and without Mild Cognitive Impairment. Dr. Bhowmick is involved in Project 1 – Virtual Reality to Support Cognitive Health and Engagement and Socialization Among Aging Adults.
