Dr. Walter Boot has been elected the President of Division 20 (Adult Development and Aging) of the American Psychological Association (APA). His inauguration took place on August 9th, 2024. As a Professor of Psychology in Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine, his research and leadership will contribute to advancing the scientific study of psychological development and changes across adulthood.
