On August 13th, CREATE held its annual meeting with the Dissemination Advisory Committee (DAC). DAC is composed of two experts in media and communication: Lauren Hollenberg, the President of Wisebird, and Ethan Simmons, Communications Specialist in the College of Applied Health Sciences at Illinois. In addition to the Dissemination Core members (Wendy Rogers, Walter Boot, Hye Soo Lee, Shenghao Zhang) and interns (Kalyani Nair, Litzy Puma, Prarthana Rawal), Sara Czaja and Adrienne Jaret from the Administrative Core participated in the meeting.
The CREATE team presented their current dissemination efforts, including website updates; website and social media statistics; new content on the YouTube Channel; translation of measures; and future webinar plans. DAC members made suggestions to reach other audiences, such as industry and the lay public, and commented that they were impressed by the dissemination in academia.
